The 4th

There is a rodeo every year on the 4th of July in a small town right next to us called the St. Paul Rodeo.  I have lived in Oregon my whole life and I have never been to the St. Paul Rodeo, or anything associated with it. This year though we drove the long drive of 5 whole miles and went to the parade and carnival and had a great time.
The carnival is set up right by the rodeo arena, and the cowboy hat booth was set up right by the rodeo arena. We were sucked in by the rodeo aura of the whole situation and bought the girls cowgirl hats. I am glad we did though, 'cause this picture is priceless! 2 little wanna be cowgirls waiting for their pony ride!

We took a ride on the ferris wheel...

They have the bulls that are used in the rodeo out for you to check out. These guys are HUGE! Hazel wouldn't go near the enclosure. They were a tad ominous.

We then went over to the Craigs house for a barbeque. Uncle Chester bought a new trampoline, and that is where the girls spent the entire evening.

Troy even impressed us with this trampoline skills.....

Then we came home and did fireworks with the whole neighborhood. I am really starting to love our neighborhood, it's funny how that happens when you finally meet your neighbors.

That is so funny, in ALL the years I lived in Newberg we never went to the St. Paul Rodeo either. Always heard about it, but never went. Looks like y'all had fun!!
