This past Tuesday we went to the Rodeo,with Oma and Opa. This rodeo has been going on the small town of St Paul for 78 years, I have been around for 34 of those years, and this is my first time to watch it, but I can guarantee you it will not be the last. It was a WHOLE lotta fun! Especially going with these 2 cute cowgirls....
We arrived in style. Ok, so maybe we didn't, but someone did.
There were A LOT of goose bumps when they were bringing in the flags and singing the National Anthem.
And the riding began. It was about 2.5 hours of watching cowboys get jerked around and thrown off giant bulls, but it was interesting and exciting. Every time they would fall off it looked like they were going to get stomped on, but somehow no one actually did. I have decided that a rodeo clowns job is the most scary, stupid, and necessary job in the world.
The guy in the yellow hat sitting in the giant barrel in the back ground was the comedic entertainment. I'm pretty sure I'd heard all his jokes from a Branson stage, but what was really entertaining was when a couple of the bulls decided to run into that barrel and push it around a while, with him inside!! Yikes! Some of those bulls are just down right angry about life!

It was so fun, and next year we're gonna watch ourselves some barrel racing.
