Soccer season 2011~

Here is Hazels team,The Grasshoppers and Coach Dave. Doesn't playing outdoor soccer in October in Oregon look like so much fun. Look at all those adorable frozen faces.

It took Hazel the better part of all 9 weeks to really enjoy the game. For the first 6-7 weeks it took a lot of encouragement for her to get involved. But the last 2-3 weeks, she really started getting in there and getting the ball, even making a couple of goals. It was really quite exciting. I do have to admit that I had to bribe her a little to get involved, I think it went something like "if you kick the ball 3 times during this game, I'll take you the Dollar Tree and you pick whatever you want".

Here are the Magical Unicorns and Coach Michelle.


Violet really loved soccer and she is very good at, something she gets from her father. She is very much looking forward to playing again this year, we are hoping to reunite the Magical Unicorns, and finally beat the team called Brazil. They were the only team that beat us both games we played them. Brazil is going DOWN! I just love her smile in this picture.



Play dough creations-


I just really thought this play dough birthday cake Violet made was clever.


Fire Station Open House~


I took the girls and one of Violets friends to the open house this year.


A couple of years ago they quit giving rides on the fire trucks, but this year they brought it back, but it was on this old fire truck. Kind of a bummer, but still cool for kids who don't know what they are missing not getting to ride the big fire truck. =)



A Fall Friday Project~


During my fall Friday posts in October I did this project, but didn't like the way it turned out and forgot about it. But looking at it now, it doesn't look too bad. I might try another clothing craft again, now that I have Pintrest for inspiration. Can I get an amen!


Jeremy Camp Concert~

Back in November I went with Trina and Leonard to a Jeremy Camp and Francesca Battistelli concert. The picture was taken in the pre concert question time. For those who are saying "who?", they are Christian music artists. It was an excellent concert! One of my favorite songs on KLOVE is "There Will Be A Day" and it was incredible to get to see it performed live by Jeremy Camp. If you ever get the opportunity to see either one of these people in concert, I highly recommend!
