The 4th

On the 4th we went to the Donkey Ponds with our friends the Brenners. They are fabulous people to spend the day with. The Donkey Ponds has nothing to do with Donkey's or Ponds, it is just a part of the Yamhill River. It is pretty shallow for about 30 feet, so it's perfect for the kids to play with floaties, and not have to worry about them. These 4 were in the water from the time we got there at 11:30, to the time we left at 6:30. Thank goodness for sunblock....

Even Tucker got in the water this time, usually he just hangs on the shore and whines when Troy goes in. This time he followed him right in.

We turned the shore into a driving range.

The Brenners brought their pontoon, and the dads gave all the kids rides.

"Where's the water?"

After a fun filled day at the river we came back to the house and did fireworks....early....because these parents were beat! It was a fabulous day of friends, fun, and celebrating freedom.

What a great way to celebrate our nations birthday. You didn't include a picture of your sunburn. Love, Mom aka Gma
