I recieved this forward a little bit ago. And it made so much sense to me, especially as I was digging through my bag looking for my phone, just to make sure I remembered to bring it to work with me.
I wonder what would happen if we treated our Bible like we treat our cellphone.
* What if we carried it around in our purse or pocket?
* What if we turned around to get it if we forgot it?
* What if we flipped through it several times a day?
* What if we flipped through it several times a day?
* What if we used it to receive messages from the text?
* What if we treated it like we couldn't live without it?
* What if we gave it to kids as gifts?
* What if we used it when we traveled?
* What if we used it in case of emergency?
For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.
Hebrews 4:12
All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.
2 Timothy 3:16
