We left Tuesday July 3 and got to York, NE really late Weds July 4. We didn't get to do our own fire works, but we saw a whole bunch going off along the freeway. We spent the night with my best friend Leann in York, a much needed break for all of our bottoms and sanity. Wyoming is a very long boring state to cross in during the day with a 1 and 2 year old.
We left York at around noon on July 5th and got to Branson, MO about 7:30 that night. While in Branson we had a Winn Family Reunion to attend, got to see alot of family we hadn't seen in a few years. We also got to see a few special friends we haven't seen in about 3 years. The Bratchers, the Storms, and my "brother" Jonathan Close. We had a minature Isenberg Reunion, with my parents, my brother and his wife, and my sister and her family. We were busy, busy, busy with hanging out at the lake, spending time and catching up with family and friends, eating lots of grandmas yummy food, and having a WONDERFUL time.

We left Branson on Friday July 13th and headed to OKC, OK to see Ryan and Katie. While in OKC we ate at Ted's Escondita (spelling?), yummy, visited Jonathan and saw his apartment. Then spent some quality time with cousin Matt. On Sunday we got to go to church at Mayfair and watch Katie be "interviewed" by her new employer for our lunch time entertainment. Congrats Katie on your new wonderful job. We left OKC on Sunday afternoon in a gazillion degree weather and headed back to York, NE to spend time with Ryan and Leann.

We got to York about 8 pm, just in time to watch an incredible sunset and a great lightening storm pass by. On Monday the 16th we went to see Jeff and Margaret at there home hidden in the corn fields of Exeter, NE. We spent a nice afternoon on the homestead =) getting to play with their "livestock"( aka, ducks and guinea birds, chickens, cats, and dogs...violet was in animal heaven) and getting the tour of their land. We sure do miss them, but are happy they are so happy where they are. That night Leanns sister Mary and family came over. I love to sit and chat with those girls, it makes me smile! I love you guys. On Tuesday Leann and I tried to take the kiddos to the park, once again a GAZILLION degrees. We lasted about 15 minutes. We left York about 4 pm and continued our journey West to Idaho.

We got to Carrie and Davids in Mountain Home, ID about 6 am. Troy drove ALL NIGHT with the help of a couple of Rock Star Energy drinks and Mountain Dew. What a trooper. We hit some crazy weather in Wyoming, I had fun trying to catch pictures of the lightening. When we got to Carrie's Troy went to sleep immediately and Carrie and played with the kids outside to keep the noise level down inside. The kids play really well together for the most part. Hopefully they will be loving cousins their whole life. Just like I am blessed to have so many. Carrie, the kids, and I met David for lunch at a yummy hamburger place, Troy was still sleeping. When we got back Troy was a wake and we spent the rest of the day hanging out, NOT being in a car. On Thursday the 19th we went to see where David works at Mountain Home Air Force Base. Those jets are very impressive when you hear them zoom by overhead. It is really neat. That night we made smores in the fire pit in their back yard and played. We left Mountain Home around 10 pm to come home to Newberg.

We got back to Newberg about 4:30 am. Once again Troy drove it all. He is like a barn horse. You point him in the direction of home, and he GOES....quickly with no messing around. We are glad to be home, thank you to everyone who prayed for our safe travel. Don't worry....more pics to come. I am going to have to do them in installments.
