We just got back last night from our trip up to Troy's dads for Christmas. Our Christmas festivities kicked off on Friday night when mom, dad, Grandma B and Grandpa B came over for dinner and presents, on Saturday Troys mom, Steve, Shawn, and Becky came over for more food and presents, then we left on Saturday night for Bellingham, WA. We spent all afternoon at Troy's Grammy's house on Sunday after church, spent Christmas eve at Great Grandma Betty's house (Troy's step grandma), went back over to Grammy and Papa's all Christmas day, on Wednesday I helped Troy's sister, Sarah, DEEEEP clean her room (took 7 hours), we were going to leave on Wednesday night but weather was questionable so we stayed one more night, we left Troy's dad's about 3 and it took us 6 1/2 hours to get home because we hit lovely Seattle traffic at rush hour. Needless to say, it is nice to get home and rest after our vacation! We had a wonderful time, as always when we go up there. The girls had fun on Christmas as you can see from the proceeding pictures. Hope you all had a Merry family filled Christmas.
Violet leaving Christmas cookies out for Santa.
The girls with there bounty of gifts. They each got a baby stroller, to help mommy's sanity!
This is how they looked between pictures. They just wanted to play with their new stuff, and mommy kept saying "look at mommy and SMILE!"
Here is Hazel and Hazel. This who our sweet Hazel is named after. This is Troy's Great Grandma
I thought this was a cute picture. It looks like Hazel is giving Great Great Grandma Hazel some advice.
Here is Violet with Great Grammy, Arlene (the reason for Hazel's middle name). Violet loved being with Great Grammy.
Here Hazel looks like she is having a very important conversation with her uncle Johnny. Apparently she is very wise, giving all this free advice. =)
A very happy grandpapa with his sweet grandaughter.
Violet found 2 very kindred spirits in her uncles Johnny and David. She followed them around and they were always happy to stop and play with her or give her a piggy back ride. It was very cute to see together.
This is Troy's great aunt Linda and Aunt Julie. Hazel was just content sitting between them for the longest time. There's no need to move when you're surrounded by sweet people.
And finally here is Violet having a good laugh with her aunt Sarah.
I will try and get pics from the other Christmas celebrations we had, but I just wanted to get some pics up for you.
