Fall Friday

Aside from finally getting to wear sweatshirts everyday, the fall foliage is probably my favorite part about Fall! The colors the trees change are breathtaking and amazing. I was driving down the street the other day and saw a tree soooo red/orange I literally took a double take. It was gorgeous. For being a very evergreen state Oregon has some good places where you can take in the beauty, but there are a couple of places that I think out rank us in the Northwest.

This is a place I miss in the Fall, the Ozark Mountains. Rolling hills that look like they are on fire there is so much orange and red.

Some day I would LOVE to go to New England during the fall to see more sights like these in person. I honestly don't think you can get too much of these pictures. So here are some of my favorites I have found. Hope you enjoy them and feel like you're taking a walk on a cool crisp afternoon in God's majestic canvas of all foliage.....

Liberty, NY

Portland, CT (Potentially my dream house!!! Wouldn't that be a great place to wake up every morning!)

Pocono Mountains, PA

The Birkshires, MA

Ahem, I happen to know someone in the East surrounded by those trees on fire who would love nothing more than to walk around in them with you between viewings of Meet Me In St. Louis with apple cider. . .Just sayin' . . . Love you!

sooo, is your dream house the last one? I mean the trees are gorgeous but I think you can dream a little higher ;) I miss trees too. At least the overwhelming be surrounded and get lost in kind. We just have to enjoy the pretty planted kind instead of the out of the wild kind
