Fall Friday

On this day 11-11-11 I am going to give you the top 11 reasons why I LOVE LOVE LOVE fall....

1) I get to wear sweatshirts.

2) Fresh homemade hot apple cider with cinnamon- Ah- may- zing!!!

3) Foggy mornings. They are just so mystical and haunting

4) I don't feel like I have to go outside, or send the girls outside. Yes, this sounds lazy and boring, but sometimes I just like to stay inside....and wear sweatshirts.

5) Space heaters, next to sweatshirts a space heater is my favorite way to stay warm!

6) Trees that look like they are on fire they are so orange.

7) Pumpkin, apple, and vanilla candles

8) Daylight savings time ends. I love it when it gets dark early. It makes me want to get cozy and light a pumpkin candle.

9) Football

10) Eggnog lattes

11) When I get to wear a sweatshirt, next to a space heater and a pumpkin candle, on a foggy cold day, with The Witch of Blackbird Pond, and an Eggnog Latte. (Hasn't happened yet, but I have a few more weeks of fall to get it done)

#11 sounds like your idea of heaven on earth-until summer of course and you find all of those reasons you love that time of year. I love fall too. So beautiful.

I love the fall, too. Sounds like you really love sweatshirts! :-)

That's funny, cause I mourn the day I have to pull out the sweatshirts, turn on the space heater, can't send the kids outside to play and set my clock back. But I have to agree with all the rest of them :).

I have to say I was more than a little surprised to see football on that list. . . I'd have to cross off eggnog but other than that I wish I was right beside you in my sweatshirt, warm socks, reading I don't even care what as long as the kids aren't trying to rouse me. :) Love & miss you SO much!

You know, as much as I read, I still don't ever remember reading that book. Throw in a heating blanket and make it in a room off of the beach and it DOES sound fabulous. Only if you're reading next to me though of course.
