A Few Of My Favorite Things....

For holiday decoration. The first few years after Troy and I got married I went a little crazy with the Christmas decor. Over the past couple of years I have realized less is more, and I have slowly been downsizing the decoration process, and I think that it still looks warm, festive, and fun.

Here is our fabulous REAL tree! Troy surprised us by picking out and bringing it home a couple of nights ago. I think he made a very good choice. It is the largest tree we have had in a couple of years.

This little glass tree and bear set was something my mom had for decorating when I was growing up. I always got so excited when she started putting up Christmas decorations as a kid, and loved it when she put this out. I hope it is a good memory for my girls too.


Just a few of my favorite ornaments. We have a gazillion, but I tried to narrow it down to just a few.... you're welcome.

Obviously this is a special one. I don't have any from Hazel yet, but I am excited to start loading up the tree with years of these!


This is my angle tree topper. I bought this before I was married, when I worked for a toy store in BransonThese next 3 pictures are of my Mary's Angels ornaments. I would love to start collecting more of these, but these are just the 4 I have collected over the past 10 years. I put them at the top of the tree next to my angel tree topper. It's my only little personal Christmas tradition. They make me smile.
