We got to Portland a little early, so we walked around. Nothing was open, but we found a pretty little picture opportunity for the girls in their pretty dresses.
I did not get a picture of the boat from the outside, but here we are at our table.
The girls got to pick out the teapot that we would use for the party. There were several pretty pink, floral, girly teapots, but both of them instantly agreed (which actually doesn't happen very often) on this cute little black and white polka dot one. It reminded them of Great Grandma, who loves polka dots. So very sweet!
There was face painting....
Each of the children wrote about their teapot. Hazel named hers Polka Dot and it's magical because it pours candy.
Violet named it Ruth, it's magical because there is a pixie that lives in it that gives her wishes, and she likes it because it reminds her of her Great Grandma Ruth.
We went on a "treasure hunt", where we got a chance to go up on the top deck. The sun was shining but the breeze was a little crisp.
We had a wonderful time. It was fabulous and a wonderful memory to make! Thank you Grandma, we had a great time! We love you!!

Grandma had a great time too. My girls are so pretty. They take after their mommy. I think I've decided I need to drink more tea too. Those are great pictures.
What fun! Looks like you had a great time, and what beautiful hats and dresses. Did you get to keep the teapot?
That looks like so much fun! Gald you all had a good time. Tea parties are great! Love those girls. :-)
