A Few of My Favorite Things Vol. 97

Every once in a while I look around the house and see things that make me smile, and it makes me want to share/brag about them because they are special.

This first picture was the final cherry on the sundae last May when the best Best Friend Ever showered me with a whole month of love. I sure did feel the love!

Hazel made this lovely piece of art on a field trip to the Cultural Center last year when she was  in Kindergarten. They pushed leaves they picked up outside into clay and when it was fired the leaves burned off and left these pretty imprints. It is a fabulous addition to my piano top now that I have a stand for it.

This masterpiece is Violets creativity at work. She colored all the dots on a paper towel and I think it looks like a patchwork quilt. I framed it because I think it will look great in my newly redecorated dining room ( a blog that will be coming soon, take a look at that yellow wall, for it is no more. YAY!)
