I have this song on a tape of Best Friends (the a cappella singing group from Lubbock Christian University) and everytime I hear it I have to say I get a little verklempt. If you have children and you pray that someday they find a mate that fears and loves the Lord this song will probably do the same to you. It is sung from the perspective of the father praying for the little girl who will marry his son someday. As the mother of one of those little girls I pray that I can help them as they strive to write Jesus on their heart, and I pray that there is a boy out there that is doing the same. Such a wonderful song. I personally like the acappella version, but this is sung by the guy who wrote it, I believe.

Wow, I haven't thought about that song in forever! The day they get married seems so far away, but really that little girl or boy is already out there somewhere. Crazy! Gotta start praying for them right now.
