The Christmas Reason

We never really celebrated Christmas as the birth of Jesus growing up. We were always reminded that we should remember Jesus everyday and that actually his birth probably took place in the spring. But in a way I think it's ok to celebrate His birth at Christmas, because any reason that makes people stop and think about Him is a good thing. It may be the only time of year when a child hears about Jesus, and then a seed is planted in their mind. Or someones life is changed when a church brings them groceries and a Bible as a gift. So though He may have been born in the spring, Christmas gives the world a reason to at least turn towards God for a moment. I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas!

I agree. I don't think anyone can know for sure when Jesus was born but I don't think it is ever wrong for people to think about it and want to celebrate it.
