Seven Wonders

There is an organization that is putting together a new group for the Seven Wonders of the World. There is only 1 of the original Wonders left, the Giza Pyramids. Of course there are some people who don't want to make a new list, but I personally think it is a good idea. Here are both lists. I have also included a link to Wikipedia where you can go to learn about the choices for the New Seven Wonders.

QUESTION- 1. Which ones do you think should be included in the new list. 2. Have you ever been to any of these places?

I think that the Great Wall of China, the Acropolis, and the Colesseum should definately be on the list, and no I have never been to any of these places, but hopefully someday.

The Temple of Artemis
The Hanging Gardens of Babylon

The colosseum is awesome. I went to it a few times when I was in Rome for the summer. It was amazing. There are so many layers to it. It amazes me that it has stood this long. The only one I don't think should be on there is the sidney opera house, don't get me wrong it's amazing, but in a different way, plus it's not old enough!! That can be on the list in another 1000 years, if it's still standing that is!!

Alhambra for sure!! I've been fascinated with that place since I learned about it in art history. The whole thing is sooo detailed. And it just so happened to be the home of Catherine of Aragon who is the character in the Constant Princess that I am reading about now. On another note...why the statue of liberty? I don't see anything too wonderous about her.
