A Day At The Beach

Carrie and the boys came down for 3 weeks and we went to the beach last week, like we did last year. It was a perfect day, not hot or windy, or rainy. Just overcast and slightly cool. The kids got to play in the water and didn't even have to go numb to enjoy it.

It took Hazel a while to get used to the sand. At first she wouldn't even touch it with her feet. But by the end of the day she was just as sandy as the rest of them.

Violet loved it! But I think she could play in a dumpster and still have the best time of her life if George and Nolan are with her.

I think George's face says it all. This is crab is not alive, but it still had all of it's interesting crab stuff to look at.

I have more great pics from the day, but my computer is not agreeing with me right now, so I will try and get the rest on in a couple of days. Carrie and the boys are back home now. =( We really enjoy it when they are here.

What great memories for the girls! Cousins are something special, especially when they're in the Butcher family =)and I agree with the dumpster comment. They don't really care where they play as long as they're with someone they love to be with.

I love that picture of Hazel, she looks so peaceful! I can't wait till we get to add to the cousin count.
