So today is a day that I have been dreading for a while now. I am turning the big 3-0. I guess "dreading" is a bad way of putting it....no dreading is a good word for it. I know it is just a number, but being 30 to me is being a "real adult". In your 20's you can kind of pretend that you are still growing up, but 30 means you have no more excuses you ARE a grown up. I feel like I want to devote this blog to thanking every person individually that has ever helped, nurtured, disciplined, comforted, inspired, encouraged, and raised me. But I fear if I named everyone individually I would inadvertently forget someone and then I would feel bad. So to everyone...THANK YOU! I love you all!
Here's to 30 and being grown up. =)

Happy Birthday! 30 is no big deal, I won't expect you to be a real adult just yet.(Of course this is coming from someone who hasn't hit it yet). I don't think you're a real adult until you have teenagers :-)
Have a great day!
Happy Birthday Laura! I miss you and hope you are doing great!

Happy Birthday! I think you'll make a great grown up. And remember what the New Kids say; age is just a number, don't you stop having fun! (and don't forget, NKOTB is back! this is going to be the best year ever! :))
I love you.
Happy Birthday Laura!! You seem to be handling 30 better than I did. I think the remedy is to go out with your friends to dinner. That is what I did and it was so much fun!! Have a wonderful birthday! Love, Mary
Happy Birthday! I think I heard somewhere that the 30's are the new 20's. So why be a grown up? You are still young!
Oh sweet Laura!!! You are 30, flirty & thriving!!! :) And I'm so glad you've joined me. 30 was super hard for me too!! However, I, like you. . . have decided that this is our decade!!! I'm just so thankful that 30 years ago today you breathed your first breath & are still breathing! You are crazy special to me & I hope you know I love you to pieces!!! Happy Birthday amazing Laura! wendy.
I too second, best year ever (NKOTB). Ryan was looking at something on the comp today and wouldn't let me see, and I immediately asked if it was NKOTB. (Of course not, it was a puppy he was looking at =) ) But as long as we can relive our young years and think of all the great times our families and friends had while we were young, then we will all stay young together! so here's to being 80, wrinkly, and remembering to stay young (if only in the past) !
Leann
I know Leann left her comment, but as she is closer to 80 than I am, and apparently knows what wrinkly feels like, let me just say, it is great to be young STILL!!!
C YA SOON
Ryan
