I love that I live in a place where I can see scenes like this just driving down the road. This is actually Mount Baker up in Northern Washington, but on a clear day around here in Oregon you can see up to 3 mountains! It's just gorgeous!

Misty, my teddy bear that I got when I was 9 years old. I slept with her up until I got married. She recently had a run in with a dog (a puppy that shall remain unnamed that lives in our house that I did not talk to for a couple of days following the mauling incident in question), and lost her nose. But I think with a little help she will be as close to normal as possible.

My new art work, thanks to the new preschooler in our house. It looks lovely hanging on our wall! I am looking forward to more of these. =)

My cat, Parler and the fact that she loves to crawl under the covers. I got her when she was 8 weeks old or so. She turned 9 years old on July 23rd. I love her to peices, she is an excellent cat. She doesn't bite, or scratch (probably because she has no front claws). She actually has a little personality and is big and fat and is cuddly on her own terms. Not to mention she beautiful!

What are some of your favorite things?

Needless to say, my husband, my children and my 6 perfectly adorable grandchildren, but beyond that: a good book on a rainy afternoon, a really good cup of coffee with a hot cinnamon roll, sitting across from our best friends on a Thursday evening and taking my shoes off and putting my feet up after a good long walk. I could go on and on because I am one very blessed woman with lots of wonderful things in my life. Mom
A few of my favorite things are baby feet, turning up my favorite music really loud and singing along, listening to George and Nolan pray, orange leaves against a dark gray sky, and the sound of rain.
Singing in the car, miles of corn fields, thunderstorms, and taking NAPS! =)
