It's the place to be....

If you remember last year, we started converting our back yard into Green Acres. Well, we have gone a step closer, Zsa Zsa here I come. This past weekend Troy built a chicken coop and we added the first of our live stock (if you don't count the dog, cat, and fish), 4 chicks.

Here is the very nice chicken coop. The girls are so excited, they keep telling people, including complete strangers at the store, that we are building a farm.

Here are 2 cute chicks, and 2 baby chickens. =)

Here are the chicks in their new home. I can't tell who is who in this picture. But the 2 yellow ones are Ruby and Matilda. And the 2 brown ones are Judy and Opal.

But don't think that this farm doesn't come with acommodations...........no sir....It isn't every chick that gets a house with a toilet, vanity, and fireplace!!!!

I love the set up! Such lucky chicks to have such lovely furniture in thier home. Where did you come up with those names? I'm suprised that one isn't named Clementine :).

Love the furniture! I'll be interested to see how the farming is going. Lauren and Brad were close to getting some chickens at one point but I don't remember why they changed their minds. Hope they lay lots of eggs for you!

Nice coop! What a crafty fellow that brother of mine is. And the girls look like they are in love. I can't wait to come see them!
