Round 3

Hazel had a 3rd set of ear tubes put in this morning. We were up and at the hospital at 6 am this morning and out of there by 9:15, a quick and relatively simple procedure that will (and already is) making life easier and clearer. She was sooooo brave, sweet, and only a little bit pathetic.

When you first get there they butter you up with toys.......

Then they put you in a lovely pale green backless dress, which can only look this good on someone this cute......
Next they put a heart monitor on your finger and squeeze the life out of your arm.......

Then they wheel you away for about 30 minutes, where they knock you out and put little bitty tubes in your ears and bring you back sleepy and weepy, which makes the nurses fuss over you and bring you......

GRAPE POPSICLES

CHERRY JELLO

APPLE CINNAMON MUFFINS AND CARTOONS
All of this counteracts the minor discomfort in your ears. So when mommy says "Are you ready to go home" you say "Not yet, can I have some grape juice"

Hospitals can make this sort of thing so lovely for a young girl. Glad everything went well.
