School......... Hazel is in morning kindergarten. Here she is at Open House last week by her work cubby. She is really enjoying school, her teacher says she is trying reallllly hard to learn, and that she has a tendency to get frustrated with herself when she doesn't know how to spell something.
Soccer.......... We have soccer practice every Tues and Thurs. Violet is at 5pm and Hazel is at 6pm. It makes for very busy days, and doesn't leave a lot of time for blogging fun.
School........ Violet with her "Violet" drawing. All the kids had themselves at their desks and parents had to figure out from the pictures which desk was their childs. I think Violet did an amazing job!! It is the 3rd week of school and we are already having recess drama with little girls saying "you aren't my friend" or "I have a new best friend". It makes me sad. I just pray I can teach Violet to rise above and be kind and friendly to everybody on the play ground. I very much remember going through this when I was younger. Girls can be so mean. Argh.
Soccer.......At last Saturdays game Violet made a goal and got MVP of the game, which means she gets to take home the pink Magical Unicorn stuffed animal until the next time the team gets together. Oh the joy that abounds with having the unicorn under our roof......

aw love all the pics and what a cute idea about drawing yourself and having parents guess! I have a feeling I'll be calling you asking for "mean girl on playground" handling advice in a few years!

My heart breaks for Violet, that's my biggest fear about school, I dislike mean kids! But they both look extremely happy so it must not be affecting them too much!
