The hutch has been moved over to break up the big wall. I think I have decided to keep the hutch red, and paint the paneling white, eventually. I am also going to be replacing the glass in the hutch doors with chicken wire.
This is the tin I found at an antique mall in Lafayette. It is not an antique, but I'm sure the original that is out there is one.
The "Co-op Chicks" picture is also a tin that my mom picked up for me at a swap meet a couple of weeks ago. I love it! The round things are embroidery hoops with some fabric that I have picked up over the past few months.
This wall has been done for a while. The mirror is from one of the auctioned mini-storage units mom and dad got a few years ago. The frame was brown up until a couple of months ago, I actually think it is an antique. There is a marking on the back I will have to check out someday. You also see the fabulous framed paper towel art Violet did, that I mentioned HERE. I considered getting rid of Max the dalmatian, because he is not very chickeny...but he's staying.
And check this out!!!! There is light coming in my back door. Our back porch has been enclosed for the past 2 years. But Troy is done with his shed, so it is no longer needing to be enclosed, and the first pieces of plywood came down today. YAY!!! Let the sun shine in. Or the gray sky, Or the street light behind our house....
The wall to the right of the back door and the left of the hutch are still needing decor. If anyone has some fabulous ideas, I'm open.

I saw a chicken statue the other day in Garden Ridge and wondered how the decorating was going! It looks cute! (I have a board on Pinterest called Things for my Walls if you need ideas!)

somehow I missed the post about the paper towel art and the clay with the leaves. I loved both! That clay thing was REALLY pretty. I guess only Oregonians are cool enough for things like that in kindergarten =( I may mention the papertowel thing to Isabelle. She would love it I'm sure. now I'm trying to figure out how to do that in the car on the way to Disney w/o having markers drop all over the floor...
