Approximately 2021

I found a complete list of every Disney movie every made starting from the first one in, Snow White in 1937 to "rumored" movies like a remake of The Swiss Family Robinson as far out at 2015 or farther. All together there are about 505 movies, WOW! So I have set out to watch all them, with my girls. If you take out the "rumored" ones, and ones that are scheduled to be released in 2014 and 2015, plus the one they have already seen (about 90) that leaves about 385. If we were to watch 1 a week this will take about 7.5 years, putting us at approximately 2021. Violet will be 15, Hazel 14. So you might ask, are we going to do it.....well yes we are. Sounds a bit daunting, maybe a bit silly, but overall I think it will be fun and challenging. To try to cut down on the years we might try and cram a few more in during the summer months or holiday vacations, and to document our journey through the Wonderful World of Disney I am going to do a review on the ones we watch.
I am excited to watch some that I haven't seen since I was a kid like .....

The Cat From Outer Space and

 The Happiest Millionaire

There are a couple I can tell you I am not excited to watch like....

The Legend of Lobo and

The Fighting Prince Donegal

Today they watched the "Old" Parent Trap. Violet liked it, but Hazel preferred the new one.

Next on the agenda is Darby O'Gill and the Little People (thank goodness for Netfilx and the library. They will both make this project a little easier).  I'll have to think of the right questions to ask the girls so you get a full review of each movie....look for the Darby O'Gill review coming soon.....

PS...what Disney movies are your favorite from your childhood (or now).

I remember the Cat From Outer Space! And the Happiest Millionaire! As a kid I liked both, I'll have to watch them as an adult now. The boys watched The Apple Dumpling Gang recently and really liked it.

Wow I didn't some of those were Disney either. Our neighbor just gave us 20 or so Disney movies that his wife had collected. We watched Peter Pan and the little Mermaid recently. I think Dumbo is up next! How fun for you and the girls.

Looking at your list I was reminded of "Watcher in the Woods" I don't know if you remember watching it at my house, I am sure we did, sure Becky and Wendy remember. It was the SCARIEST movie I had EVER seen, didn't help growing up with a gully at the bottom of the cul-de-sac. :O SCARY!! ...and produced by Disney!
