Disneyland Day 1

I was going to try and combine the two Disneyland days, but that is too many pictures in one post.

 

I told the girls that they had to ride everything at least 1 time, and they did. There were a couple of rides that one time was enough for them, but....I made them ride again. Hazel did not like Indian Jones

We decided to ride Indiana Jones first, we stood in line for about 15 minutes when they announced it wasn't working. So we decided to come back.

We decided to go ride Splash Mountain instead. We got soaked, as you can tell from Hazel's shirt. My shoes were still wet when we got back to our hotel that night at 10pm. This is the girls favorite ride, every time we would get off of another ride, they'd ask if we could go on Splash Mountain.

 

I packed  us a lunch this day, so we went over to Tom Sawyers Island to eat it.

No trip to Disneyland is complete without a ride on the teacups.....

Or the Matterhorn.  However, if they don't make this ride a little more smooth, I may not be riding it next time I go. The Matterhorn is due for a new track, or they need to put cushions on the seats.

Hazel got to sit in the Drivers seat on Autopia.

Hazel did not like Indian Jones and Violet did not like Space Mountain. Both of which Troy and I really wanted to ride again, so we suckered them into riding again. Horrible I know. We did do all the classic rides too, like The Haunted Mansion and Pirates, but I didn't get any good pics. For some reason I quit taking pictures about this time, but don't fret. Disneyland Day 2 is coming!
