This was our LONG day in the park. We got there at 8, and saw our first character to get a photo op with. So while we waited to get our picture taken with Daisy, Troy went and got a fast pass for Space Mountain. If I haven't said it yet...Fast passes are stellar!
After the Daisy pic, we headed over to the Nemo submarine ride, but stopped to take some pictures along the way.
This is our 3rd trip down Splash Mountain. We kept trying to get the girls to let go, but they just couldn't do it.
When we got of Splash Mountain we saw Tigger and Eyeor doing pictures....I cannot pass up an picture with Tigger. Had to be done.
We then jumped on the train and headed over to Toon Town. We got to visit Mickey's house. Here is Violet sitting in Pluto's bed.
And look who was home!!
Couple of the cutest jail birds ever!
Almost gave herself a hernia....haha.
A piece of advice...if you go to Toon Town. Do not stand in line for the Roger Rabbit ride for longer than 10 minutes. It's not worth it. We stood in line for 30 minutes, and it was a 2 minute ride, we did get a couple of cute pictures while waiting though.
Love us some Small World. It was on this ride that I really got that overwhelming feeling of how excited I was to share this with my girls. It's such a classic ride.
But they have updated it a bit. They have added Disney characters to it. Here is Ariel in the under the sea portion of it.
We left around 4pm to go back to the hotel so the girls could swim for a bit and then get their costumes on to go back to Mickeys Halloween Party! The park closed to regular admission guests at 6pm this evening. But if you wanted to go to the Halloween party you had to buy a special ticket. This was soooo worth the extra money it cost to stay in the park from 6-11pm. We did not have to stand in lines, they go to where their costumes to Disneyland, and they got to experience it with their cousins!
Troy's sister Becky and her family were there, and I am so glad we got to meet up with them for a bit. What a wonderful memory to make. You can check out Becky's blog for better pics of this!!
This is a scary picture on so many levels....
After the Halloween party parade we parted ways with Becky and company. Violet and Troy went to ride Splash Mountain one more time, but Hazel didn't want to get wet again, and wanted to go to get a stuffed animal baby Lady (as in Lady and the Tramp) she had seen in one of the stores. We did our souvenir shopping, watched the fireworks show and then we were ready to head on out, but I wanted to stop and get a picture of the big Mickey Pumpkin (wearing my new Disneyland sweatshirt!).
It was a long FABULOUS day. Here we are waiting for our bus, we just couldn't stand any longer.
