A Day at The Beach

This past weekend we went the beach with some good friends from church, The Rockwells. We had a good time. It was Hazels first trip to the Oregon Coast, so of course we got lots of pictures. You can't really tell by looking but it was very windy and cold, so we didn't stay down on the beach long. Just long enough to let Violet get her hands dirty "building" a sand castle, and let Hazel smell the ocean air. I feel VERY blessed to live in such a beautiful part of the US. I may not agree with all Oregon politics, but tree huggers do keep Oregon pretty. =)

Question: Do you think where you live is pretty. If not, where would you live based on what it looks like?

Abby, Violet, and Allison looking for bunnies. Shockingly bunnies don't come when there called by little girls with carrots.

Those pictures are wonderful. I love where we live, we have a whole range of nature's beauty, but I've learned that I can find beauty in almost everywhere because God created it all and it's all amazing no matter if it's hot, cold, sticky, icky it's all still pretty amazing.

While most don't consider Oklahoma beautiful I think the sunsets and the skies before and after storms here are simply amazing. You just get to see much more of the sky since there aren't any silly hills in the way :) Love the pics....and the bunny hunting idea. I can't believe it didn't work.

P.S. And just how much sand did Hazel eat?
